I have so much love for Mullaney's books, and this one did not disappoint. We jump back in with Simone after her adventures in The Serpent's Fang, where she was injured and forced to kill another treasure hunter in the chase for the Serpent's Fang. She also got her hands on her parents' travel journal, a piece of her history that starts a journey to discover more about her parents.
This time, Simon teams up with Lincoln and Alice to discover an artifact that saves lives, much different from the last quest she was on. However, a life-saving artifact doesn't limit the life-threatening situations Simone gets into. A mini gun fight, a flooded hotel room, and a collapsing tomb are just some of the obstacles she must overcome.
As always, Mullaney kept me hooked on every page. Simone's journey - both her personal one and her professional one - keeps me interested. I recommend all of Mullaney's books, and I can't wait for the 3rd installment in this series!

The Tomb of Souls The Treasure Huntress Book 2 edition by Ryan Mullaney Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Stilted, boring. No Laura Croft here.
Kept my interest all the way to the end. I can't wait to read the third book. Highly recommended for an enjoyable read.
Worthy follow up. Keeps the intrigue and pace of the first one and improves upon it.
Hope the next book in the series is coming out soon. Love the gritty characters and crazy plot. Simone is a one girl self distruct ball on a roll.
To reading the next book in this series. She keeps you on edge all the way through. You are looking forward to turning the next page
Simone Cassidy continues to defy standard tropes and basic heroine archetypes in Mullaney's 2nd of The Treasure Hunress series. There will be many times when you will see where the story is going, but there will also be many more times when you will not. This is the main draw and appeal of the two stories as they are currently. If you liked the first you will enjoy the second, and (most likely) crave the third.
Overall I like this series. However, I feel as though they spend a considerable amount of time building the plot and moving toward a big finale, only to fast forward through the end. I also think that the relics deserve more attention. These one of a kind, world treasures are more or less glanced over and not given much of a back story. Overall though, well written and entertaining.
